Pianist, composer, teacher and evangelist, Gerald Babanezhad was born in Tehran-
Iran to an Assyrian father and an Armenian mother. He migrated to the United States in 1979 and after graduating from Ferrahian Holy Martyrs high school he embarked on an extensive study of the world of classical music with an emphasis in romantic,impressionistic and the late works of contemporary composers of modern times.Gerald Babanezhad studied piano with Rima Orlova,Dr. Sandra Bostrom and composition with distinguished professors such as Dr. Aurelio de la vega,Dr. Daniel Kessner and Dr. Frank Campo in Cal State University, Northridge.

Mr. Babanezhads performances have been aired on KCSN and on Time Warner cable.
